How many times have I "started over again"?  Each time, I hope it will be the one that sticks. Of course, the only alternative is just to give up and that is just not an option for me.  I have 3 main enemies in my fight to better health and fitness.

     1.  Bad for you food that just tastes so good.

     2.  Northern Michigan winters, wh

    Hello world,

I joined GymAmerica because I wanted the benefits of a personal trainer utilizing all the equipment I have in my home!  I have tried sooooo many other forms of exercising such as running (2 years), zumba - 6 months, but t

Power Plan is a great workout. Really getting into it. Otherwise, just trying to stay more active, biking on the weekend and stepping out at work everyday for a 30 minute walk. Diet has been good -- cooking a lot more at home rather than eating out. Good for my wallet as well!

Winter has slowed my running schedule. I generally don't love running in cold weather and don't love running on a treadmill. So, this time of year is hard for me to stay on track. Today was a little warmer than usual -- so I got outside for a good run before work. Felt good. Happy 2013!

I joined GymAmerica today and it looks really good!  I'm using the Delish Diabetes diet to see if it will help me get my blood glucose down and started on the a beginner fitness plan designed for women.  I hope to lose at least 20lbs.  In the past, I've had trouble keeping off the weight that I lose, so I'm looking for tools to help keep me consistent over the long

This month's going well. I don't know why but I always find it hard to keep on track through the summer. This new month feels like a new start. I really want to keep it up through the fall and into the holiday season. I usually start to lose motivation again between Thanksgiving and New Year's. Not this year! I'm hoping my new gymamerica tools will help me keep it up.

Ready for the weekend again. Busy week got me off my eating schedule. Didn't have time to grocery shop and cook meals so ended up eating on the go more than I would have liked. Going to try to shop on Sunday or Monday evenings to make sure I'm stocked with healthy foods to pack lunches and make dinner at home after work. Excited for MLB playoffs to start up. Need to stay away from be

I've been really enjoying my time at the gym lately. This week I started using GymAmerica's Phase 1 of Circuit Training. I'm a little sore -- but working muscles that I have long neglected and loving it so far.

I finished Day 1 of Beach Body Insanity and am still gasping for air. I performed the Fit Test which basically serves as a baseline for eventual progress I will make during this eight-week program.

The Fit Test had covered high intensity cardio and plyometrics...lots of jumping up and down and side-to-side. I think I have to concentrate on my breathing a lot more as I was co
